Job summary

GHD Group in Townsville and Gladstone invites Civil Engineering students to join the Summer Internship Program for 2026/27. You will work on real infrastructure projects, supported by mentors, across energy, water, transport sectors.

During three months, you’ll assist Civil Engineers in planning, design, and delivery, prepare calculations and drawings, and gain hands-on field experience through site visits and data analysis.

Qualifications

• Pursuing Civil Engineering degree with strong academic record.
• Interest in infrastructure sectors and hands-on experience possible.
• Ability to work in teams and communicate technical ideas clearly.

Responsibilities

• Assist Civil Engineers in planning, design and delivery of civil infrastructure projects.
• Prepare technical calculations, drawings, reports and design documentation.
• Contribute to project coordination and multidisciplinary teams.
