Job summary

Colliers is seeking a Civil Engineer for our Sunshine Coast office. You will lead a project delivery team, coordinating from due diligence through development applications, with the aim of meeting client commitments and building strong client advocacy.

You will manage multi-disciplinary project delivery, lead negotiations with stakeholders, and mentor staff while contributing to budgetary targets and profitable growth. This role supports Colliers’ national engineering practice.

Qualifications

• Proven experience planning and managing projects through all stages of delivery.
• Demonstrated leadership and project management skills.
• Experience budgeting, commercial acumen and risk management.
• High level industry awareness and engagement.
• Relevant tertiary qualifications.
• REPQ certification desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage and deliver projects from due diligence through to development application and contract administration.
• Negotiate with stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of projects.
• Develop relationships with potential clients and maintain existing ones.
• Assist Principal Engineers with forecasted workloads.
• Contribute to sustainable profit generation and growth.
• Manage commercial risk and demonstrate responsible judgement.
• Recruit, manage, train and mentor staff.
• Manage financial targets including budgets and profitability.
