Job summary

MAAS Group seeks a dedicated Civil Engineer to join our NSW team in a permanent, full-time role supporting planning, design and execution of civil projects with safety and environmental compliance at the forefront.

The role involves site investigations, designing roads and drainage, preparing plans and reports, and collaborating with architects, contractors and clients while monitoring budgets and timelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or project management.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant civil engineering experience.
• Experience with interacting with senior management and clients.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Knowledge of Australian engineering standards and regulations.
• Strong focus on WHSE and demonstrated experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site investigations and surveys to gather data for engineering projects.
• Design and oversee construction of infrastructure projects such as roads, bridges, and drainage systems.
• Prepare detailed engineering plans, specifications, and reports.
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineers to ensure project success.
• Monitor project progress and ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
• Assist in the management of project budgets and timelines.
• Provide technical advice and support to clients and stakeholders.
