Job summary

EI Australia invites a skilled Civil Engineer to contribute across planning, design and delivery of infrastructure and land development projects in Sydney. The role supports investigation, concept development through to detailed design, documentation and construction support, collaborating with clients, contractors and multidisciplinary teams to achieve compliant, high quality outcomes.

Qualifications

Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
3–5 years post-graduate civil engineering experience.
Experience in design, analysis and documentation.
Understanding of Australian Standards and codes.
Ability to interpret survey data and plans.

Responsibilities

Undertake civil engineering design and analysis for infrastructure and land development projects.
Prepare calculations, drawings, specifications, scopes of work and reports.
Contribute to design of earthworks, drainage, roads, and site works.
Review survey information and site constraints to inform design.
Coordinate with clients, contractors, authorities and internal disciplines.
Support site inspections and construction-phase services; respond to RFIs.
Ensure work complies with Australian Standards and project procedures.
Manage allocated tasks to meet scope, programme and budget.
Contribute to multidisciplinary project teams and interfaces.
Assist with fee proposals, tenders and client relationships under supervision.
