WSP is seeking a Civil Engineer to join the NSW Property and Buildings team. You will lead civil engineering projects from inception to construction, collaborating with a multidisciplinary national team to deliver outcomes for iconic projects.
Open to all levels with 3–5 years of AU/NZ experience, you will manage client relationships, apply relevant standards, and contribute to design management and site supervision. Chartered status is desirable; 12D/Civil 3D skills are valued.

Our NSW team is working on small, medium and large projects across a range of sectors, including projects in Defence and DFAT. But we have a national team approach to all our projects, which means you will work on projects across Australia, not just projects in the ACT, ensuring you gain a breadth of experience across a diverse range of projects and industries.

Work on iconic projects
Manage ongoing communication and highly effective professional relationships with clients;
Lead and deliver current civil engineering projects from inception through to construction in support of technical and commercial standards, and within time constraints and cost budgets;
Work in a varied, hands‑on role with a leadership angle across design management, superintendency and site surveillance
Delegate and supervise the work of junior engineers, and;
Partner with internal stakeholders and a collaborative, national team in a multidisciplinary engineering setting.
Bachelor to Masters’ level degree (Civil Engineering)
Chartered status with Engineers Australia (desirable)
Relevant industry experience on Australian or NZ civil engineering projects from a selection of sectors is essential, e.g. commercial, residential, industrial, land development including stormwater design and management.
3 - 5 years’ experience as a Civil Engineer in the Property and Building space within consulting.
Well versed in effectively delivering multiple, concurrent projects ranging in scale and sector, e.g. commercial, residential, industrial, land development, subdivisions and infrastructure/roads;
Strong client relationship management and project management skills;
Sound working knowledge of relevant Aus/NZ Standards and Codes (AS/NZS 3500, NCC etc.);
Proficiency with 12D and Civil 3D highly desirable ;
Highly developed customer-focus, leadership, teamwork, interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills.
Proficiency in stormwater programme ‘DRAINS’ would be highly desirable
Proficiency in water quality programme ‘MUSIC’ would be desirable
