Egis on the Gold Coast is seeking an experienced Civil Drafter to join our Urban Transport team. You will produce concept-to-construction drawings for road, pavement, and cycleway projects, and work closely with engineers to solve technical challenges.

We welcome candidates from beginner to expert levels with a Civil drafting Diploma/Associate Degree and proficiency in AutoCAD or 12d, aligned to Australian Standards.

• Diploma or Associate Degree in Civil Construction Design, Engineering Drafting, or an equivalent qualification.
• Experience from beginner to expert in urban transport or civil engineering.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD or 12d and knowledge of Australian Standards.

Job Description

We are seeking and experienced Civil Drafter to join our Urban Transport team on Gold Coast.

You will be responsible for:

• Providing drafting for concept design through to construction certification for simple to complex road, pavement, cycleway, and DDA compliant infrastructure.
• Producing detailed civil drawings for small to large scale greenfield and brownfield developments, as well as commercial, industrial, and medium density projects.
• Collaborating within project teams of engineers, receiving technical advice and direction to navigate through technical challenges and issues.

Qualifications

Ideally, you will have:

• Experience ranging from beginner to expert level, with demonstrated technical exposure to urban transport or civil engineering.
• A Diploma or Associate Degree in Civil Construction Design, Engineering Drafting, or a related qualification.
• Technical expertise in civil design drafting with knowledge of relevant guidelines, Australian Standards, and Local Council Planning Schemes.
• Strong organisational and interpersonal skills for facilitating internal engagements.
• Proficiency in industry standard software packages such as AutoCAD, or 12d.
