Job summary

Aurecon in Adelaide is seeking a Civil Designer to develop high-quality civil design documentation and models. You will work with engineers and project teams across Buildings Civil Defence projects and other infrastructure initiatives.

You will prepare models and drawings in AutoCAD, 12d or Civil 3D, contribute to BIM coordination, and ensure accurate documentation throughout project phases. Collaboration and attention to detail will be essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in civil drafting, modelling or design.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, 12d and/or Civil 3D.
• Experience delivering civil design documentation and models across buildings, land development and/or infrastructure projects.
• Exposure to multidisciplinary project environments and coordination with other design disciplines.
• Need to obtain and maintain an Australian Government Security Clearance.
• Strong attention to detail and effective communication.

Responsibilities

• Prepare civil models, drawings and design documentation using industry-standard software.
• Support the delivery of a variety of projects with a focus on Buildings Civil Defence projects across South Australia and nationally.
• Work within multidisciplinary project teams, collaborating with structural, mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and architectural disciplines.
• Assist with the development and coordination of design solutions through all project phases.
• Participate in BIM and model coordination activities.
• Contribute to quality assurance and design review processes.
• Assist with project delivery through accurate and timely documentation.
• Continue developing your technical capability under the guidance of experienced senior designers and engineers.
