Job summary

KBR is seeking a Civil Drafter/Modeller to support infrastructure projects in Australia. You will prepare civil design and drafting deliverables using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, 12D and MicroStation, collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams under supervision to ensure project outcomes.

You will contribute to model-based delivery and design coordination, benefiting from a collaborative, inclusive culture and opportunities for career growth within a major engineering organisation.

Qualifications

• Advanced experience in AutoDesk AutoCAD
• Experience producing design and documentation packages to support engineering outcomes
• Experience developing and managing detailed design models
• Ability to produce drawings/models with minimal supervision
• Demonstrated industry experience within infrastructure project delivery
• Experience in AutoCAD Civil 3D, 12D and/or MicroStation is highly desirable

The Opportunity

KBR is seeking a talented Civil Drafter / Modeller to join our growing Infrastructure team and contribute to the successful delivery of long-term infrastructure projects. In addition to our established portfolio, KBR has recently secured several major projects, creating exciting opportunities for experienced professionals to be part of our continued growth.

Our team consists of passionate and highly experienced infrastructure specialists dedicated to delivering innovative and high-quality solutions. Reporting to the Team Lead, you will work under general supervision as a technical specialist and play a key role in the delivery of a diverse range of infrastructure projects.

In this role, you will be responsible for preparing civil design and drafting deliverables using a variety of industry-standard design and modelling software. You will work closely with designers, engineers, and project supervisors, demonstrating strong communication and collaboration skills while contributing to project outcomes across multidisciplinary teams.

You will also have the following skills and experience:

Essential

• Advanced experience in AutoDesk AutoCAD


• Understanding of design coordination and model-based project delivery.


• Experience producing design and documentation packages to support engineering outcomes.


• Experience developing and managing detailed design models.


• Ability to produce drawings/models with minimal supervision.


• Demonstrated industry experience within infrastructure project delivery


• Experience in AutoCAD Civil 3D, 12D and/or MicroStation is highly desirable


• Associate Diploma in Civil Engineering design/drafting or equivalent relevant qualification
