Job summary

KBR is seeking a talented Civil Designer to join our growing Infrastructure team and contribute to the successful delivery of long-term infrastructure projects. You will prepare civil design and drafting deliverables using industry-standard software and collaborate with designers, engineers, and project supervisors to support multidisciplinary outcomes.

• Advanced experience in Autodesk AutoCAD and civil design/drafting.
• Understanding of design coordination and model-based delivery.
• Experience producing design and documentation packages to support engineering outcomes.
• Experience developing and managing detailed design models.
• Ability to produce drawings/models with minimal supervision.
• Demonstrated infrastructure project delivery experience.
• Experience in AutoCAD Civil 3D, 12D and/or MicroStation is highly desirable.

The Opportunity

KBR is seeking a talented Civil Drafter / Modeller to join our growing Infrastructure team and contribute to the successful delivery of long‑term infrastructure projects. In addition to our established portfolio, KBR has recently secured several major projects, creating exciting opportunities for experienced professionals to be part of our continued growth. Our team consists of passionate and highly experienced infrastructure specialists dedicated to delivering innovative and high‑quality solutions. Reporting to the Team Lead, you will work under general supervision as a technical specialist and play a key role in the delivery of a diverse range of infrastructure projects. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing civil design and drafting deliverables using a variety of industry‑standard design and modelling software. You will work closely with designers, engineers, and project supervisors, demonstrating strong communication and collaboration skills while contributing to project outcomes across multidisciplinary teams.

Required Skills and Experience

• Essential Advanced experience in AutoDesk AutoCAD

• Demonstrated industry experience within infrastructure project delivery

• Associate Diploma in Civil Engineering design/drafting or equivalent relevant qualification
