Job summary

J. Wyndham Prince, a respected civil engineering consultancy in Greater Sydney, is seeking a hands‑on Civil Designer/Design Engineer.

You’ll work on subdivisions, land development and infrastructure alongside experienced engineers and designers to deliver practical, buildable outcomes. You’ll gain exposure across road design, stormwater, grading and supporting infrastructure, with BricsCAD as a primary tool and 12d/Civil 3D experience valued.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in civil design or design engineering within land development or infrastructure environments.
• Subdivision experience is essential.
• Exposure to stormwater, roads or broader infrastructure projects is advantageous.
• Experience collaborating across engineers, designers, councils, contractors and stakeholders.
• Proficiency with civil design software and taking projects from concept through delivery.

Responsibilities

• Hands‑on Civil Designer/Design Engineer role focused on subdivisions, land development and infrastructure.
• Deliver practical, buildable outcomes across civil infrastructure and urban development projects.
• From road design and stormwater layouts through to grading, drainage and supporting infrastructure design.
• You’ll be supported by senior engineers and designers as you grow your own technical capability.
• There is long‑term potential to move into leadership roles.
