Job summary
Programmed Apprenticeships & Traineeships invites applicants for a Civil Construction Traineeship in the Rockhampton region. You will be hosted by RoadTek, gaining hands-on experience in road construction and maintenance while pursuing a nationally recognised Certificate III in Civil Construction – Structures or Road Construction Maintenance (RII30920).
Applicants must reside in the Rockhampton, QLD region, hold a White Card, and be willing to work rotating day/night shifts and travel as
Qualifications
- Genuine interest in hands-on civil construction work.
- Commitment to completing the Certificate III in Civil Construction (RII30920).
- Ability to work in a physically demanding outdoor environment.
- Flexibility to work rotating day/night shifts and travel when required.
Responsibilities
- Assist with road construction and maintenance activities on sites.
- Learn to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
- Develop skills through on-the-job mentoring and training.
- Contribute to safe work practices and site housekeeping.
