Job summary

AirSWIFT in Brisbane CBD is seeking an experienced Civil Construction Engineer to bridge design and construction on large Queensland projects. You will lead site activities, manage contracts and liaise with contractors and councils to keep progress on track.

The role requires 3+ years in civil engineering, knowledge of Australian codes, and proficiency with Civil 3D or 12D. CPEng/RPEQ preferred. The firm offers workplace flexibility, a competitive salary, and a central, supportive environment.

The role

Due to recent project wins and organic growth, they are currently searching for an experienced Civil Construction Engineer to join their growing civil team and help bridge the gap on projects betwwen design and construction.

You will play a key role in the delivery of projects throughout QLD, and will work closely with the leadership team of this dynamic and growing civil group.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident Engineer to step up and lead construction, within an established and thriving consultancy.

The responsibilities

Superintendent and contract management

Liaison with contractors, other consultants for site related requirements/queries

General civil works inspections – proof rolls, stormwater, water, sewer, pavements, slab on ground

Review of contractor Quality Assurance data

Liaison with council for inspections, RFI’s, lodgement of as constructed data

The requirements

3 years + working in civil engineering / construction

Experience with Australian codes and standards is essential

CPEng / RPEQ is preferred

Experience with Civil 3D, 12D and or, other relevant software a benefit
