Job summary

Department of Government Services VIC in Melbourne is seeking a Project Coordinator - Citizen and Regulatory to lead delivery of small-scale initiatives, coordinating projects, timelines, risks and reporting.

You will work autonomously with multidisciplinary teams and senior leaders, using data and standard project practices to support improvement and informed decision-making within a collaborative, high-performing team. This fixed-term role spans two years with strong government exposure.

Qualifications

Proven track record delivering projects within parameters and timeframes.
Proficiency in Microsoft 365 tools – Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and Teams is required.
Previous government experience would be highly regarded.
Prince2, PMBOK or relevant tertiary project management qualifications.
Experience leading financial monitoring and reporting across portfolios.

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end project delivery within scope, timelines, quality and governance.
Manage project governance, risks and issues with data-driven reporting.
Build strong stakeholder relationships and coordinate with internal and external partners.
Lead teams and manage resources, including budgets and delivery partners.
