Job summary

Royal Children’s Hospital (RCH) invites applications for the Chief Information Officer role, a pivotal member of the Senior Leadership Team. You will shape the digital and technology strategy, oversee ICT functions and cybersecurity, and champion responsible use of technology to improve patient safety, outcomes and efficiency.

You will lead investments in EMR, telehealth and data analytics, manage a sizeable ICT budget, and guide a team of around 45 FTE within the Digital & Allied Health

Qualifications

• 5+ years of senior leadership experience in ICT or digital leadership roles.
• Experience leading large-scale digital transformation in complex health or regulated environments.
• Proven track record delivering enterprise digital portfolios within budgets and timelines.

Responsibilities

• Set and drive RCH’s Digital and ICT Strategy, aligned to our plans.
• Govern and deliver the digital portfolio, realising measurable benefits.
• Lead cyber security and technology risk management for patients and data.
• Partner with clinical leaders to co-design digital solutions including AI adoption.
• Lead and develop a high-performing digital and technology workforce.
• Represent RCH in government, research and industry forums to shape the digital agenda.
