Job summary

HOYTS Group is seeking a Service Desk Specialist within the Cinema Technology Group in Sydney. You will cover end‑to‑end IT support across HOYTS locations, including infrastructure, application support, networks, and head office desktop support.

You’ll re‑image POS terminals, configure Intune policies, and act as escalation for infrastructure issues. You’ll bring enterprise IT experience, strong communication, and the ability to balance priorities while delivering within SLAs.

Qualifications

• Experience in an enterprise IT environment with solid IT fundamentals and the ability to troubleshoot remotely across Windows and macOS hardware, Windows Server and Microsoft 365.
• Knowledge of Active Directory, IP and networking fundamentals, SOE deployment, imaging and software packaging, and backup/restore technologies.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with a strong phone manner and ability to explain technical problems to non‑technical users.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting: Resolve hardware and software issues across PCs, laptops, POS terminals, ticket kiosks, servers, EFTPOS terminals, and network equipment within SLA via Dynamics.
• Cinema systems: Maintain Vista end to end including film programming, seating, vouchers and loyalty systems like Infoworks and Dayforce.
• Builds and deployment: Image and configure PCs, laptops, POS, kiosks and self‑service checkouts to corporate standards.
