Job summary

Pillow Talk Australia is seeking a Christmas Retail Sales Assistant for Tuggerah to help customers with linen, homewares and gifting during the busy festive period. This casual role offers weekend work, friendly team support, and on-the-floor training.

You will greet shoppers, help styling ideas, stock shelves, unpack new arrivals and operate the register. Availability from now until 24 January 2027 is preferred, with a focus on customer service, a sunny personality, and the ability to multitask

Qualifications

• Strong customer service orientation and friendly communication.
• Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities in a busy retail environment.
• Willingness to work weekends and peak periods.
• Capable of assisting customers with product selection and styling ideas.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist with product selection across linen, homewares and gifts.
• Unpack, stock and replenish merchandise and prepare displays.
• Operate the till and process transactions with accuracy and friendliness.
• Support team during busy weekends and festive periods.

We are now looking for additional team members across the country to help us bring the Christmas spirit alive. Anyone can offer you a job at Christmas, but we’ve got something else in mind - JOY! It's not about how much you know about linen, homewares, or bedding (we can teach you that!), it’s about you, and your unwavering passion to delight every customer you engage!

• You’re full of personality and confidence, and can quickly develop interpersonal connections with customers and colleagues
• You have the ability to multitask and cope with changing priorities and all the curveballs that retail can throw at you
• You have great availability for work across the seven days of the week, and most importantly our busy weekends
• Great listening skills and problem-solving skills to help our customers find the perfect home gift idea for their loved ones... (comfort really is the gift that keeps on giving!)
• This role will be a maximum-term contract and therefore, you must be available from now until 24th January 2027
