Job summary

Pillow Talk in Belrose is hiring for a Christmas Casual Retail Sales Assistant to bring the festive spirit to our shelves. You’ll be the friendly face helping customers with home gifts, linen, and decor while learning product layouts and styling ideas.

We value personality, confidence, and the ability to multitask during busy periods, especially weekends and holidays. The role runs to 24 January 2027, with incentive schemes and an employee discount on completion of the gig.

Qualifications

• You’re full of personality and confidence, and can quickly develop interpersonal connections with customers and colleagues
• You have the ability to multitask and cope with changing priorities and all the curveballs that retail can throw at you
• You have great availability for work across the seven days of the week, and most importantly our busy weekends
• Great listening skills and problem-solving skills to help our customers find the perfect home gift idea for their loved ones...(comfort really is the gift that keeps on giving!)
• This role will be a maximum-term contract and therefore, you must be available from now until 24th January 2027

Responsibilities

• Unpacking all the new Christmas decorations and summer stock (seriously, we’d show up just for this!)
• Helping customers pull together decorative looks for the Christmas season… trees, table settings, bedrooms, lounge rooms and more (no corner of the home is off limits when it comes to Christmas)
