Salomon is recruiting a Sales Associate to join our Sydney-area Galeries team, delivering an exceptional retail experience and representing a leading outdoor brand. You will be the face of Salomon, welcoming customers, sharing product knowledge, and driving sales while maintaining store standards.

The role requires strong customer service skills, energy, and a passion for Salomon products across trail, road, hike, or sportstyle categories.

Responsibilities

• Use exceptional customer service, sales techniques and product knowledge to help customers find the perfect products and drive sales.
• Quickly and positively resolve customer questions, with diligent follow-up.
• Address complaints and objections promptly and professionally, turning issues into positives.
• Promote loss prevention practices to protect company assets and procedures.
• Keep sales floor and stockroom clean, well-organised and inviting for customers.
• Handle cash and digital transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain high brand visual standards and product presentation.
• Assist with replenishment and pricing duties for promotions.

What You'll Do:

We're on the hunt for passionate and dynamic Sales Associates to support our team at Galeries and create an exceptional retail experience. As a Sales Associate, you'll be the face of our brand, ensuring every customer feels welcomed and has a positive experience by:

• Using your exceptional customer service skills, sales techniques, and product knowledge to help customers find the perfect products and drive sales.
• Quickly and positively find solutions for customers, ensuring a responsive and engaging interaction, with diligent follow-up.
• Address complaints and objections swiftly and professionally, turning potential issues into positive experiences.
• Help protect company assets and procedures by promoting loss prevention practices.
• Ensure the sales floor and stockroom are clean, well-organised, and inviting for customers.
• Confidently handle cash and digital transactions, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Contribute to maintaining high brand visual standards, always ensuring excellence in product presentation.
• Support with replenishment and pricing duties, including preparation for sales and promotions as needed

• You must have a background in sales, retail, or customer service, bringing valuable expertise to our dynamic team.

• You have good availability including over the holiday period; specifically between 26 October 2026 and 31 January 2027.
