Salomon in Australia is seeking a passionate Sales Associate for Burnside to deliver exceptional retail experiences. You will welcome customers, showcase product knowledge, and drive sales through friendly service and proactive problem solving.

Ideal candidates have sales or customer service experience, high energy, and a genuine enthusiasm for Salomon's trail, road, hike, and sportstyle products. Availability over the holiday period from Oct 26, 2026 to Jan 31, 2027 is required.

Responsibilities

• Use customer service skills, product knowledge to help customers find products and drive sales.

• Keep sales floor and stockroom clean, organized and inviting.
• Handle cash and digital transactions accurately and efficiently.

What You’ll Do:

We’re on the hunt for passionate and dynamic Sales Associates to support our team at Burnside and create an exceptional retail experience. As a Sales Associate, you’ll be the face of our brand, ensuring every customer feels welcomed and has a positive experience by:

• Using your exceptional customer service skills, sales techniques, and product knowledge to help customers find the perfect products and drive sales.
• Quickly and positively find solutions for customers, ensuring a responsive and engaging interaction, with diligent follow-up.
• Address complaints and objections swiftly and professionally, turning potential issues into positive experiences.
• Help protect company assets and procedures by promoting loss prevention practices.
• Ensure the sales floor and stockroom are clean, well-organised, and inviting for customers.
• Confidently handle cash and digital transactions, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Contribute to maintaining high brand visual standards, always ensuring excellence in product presentation.
• Support with replenishment and pricing duties, including preparation for sales and promotions as needed

• You must have a background in sales, retail, or customer service, bringing valuable expertise to our dynamic team.

• You have good availability including over the holiday period; specifically between 26 October 2026 and 31 January 2027.
