Job summary

Salomon is seeking passionate Sales Associates for Pacific Fair on the Gold Coast during the Christmas period. You will be the face of the brand, delivering exceptional customer service and product guidance to help customers find the perfect items and drive sales.

Join a dynamic team, contribute to a welcoming shopping environment, and uphold brand standards across merchandising, pricing, and promotions while assisting during peak season from late Oct 2026 through Jan 2027.

Qualifications

• Experience in sales, retail, or customer service.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work during holiday and peak periods.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

Responsibilities

• Use customer service, product knowledge and sales techniques to help customers find the right products and drive sales.
• Provide prompt, friendly resolutions to questions and issues with follow-up as needed.
• Address complaints professionally and turn negative experiences into positive outcomes.
• Assist with loss prevention practices and protect company assets.
• Maintain a clean, well-organised sales floor and stockroom, ensuring appealing product presentation.
• Handle cash and digital transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Support pricing, replenishment, and preparation for promotions as required.

What You'll Do:

We're on the hunt for passionate and dynamic Sales Associates to support our team at Pacific Fair and create an exceptional retail experience. As a Sales Associate, you'll be the face of our brand, ensuring every customer feels welcomed and has a positive experience by:

• Using your exceptional customer service skills, sales techniques, and product knowledge to help customers find the perfect products and drive sales.
• Quickly and positively find solutions for customers, ensuring a responsive and engaging interaction, with diligent follow-up.
• Address complaints and objections swiftly and professionally, turning potential issues into positive experiences.
• Help protect company assets and procedures by promoting loss prevention practices.
• Ensure the sales floor and stockroom are clean, well-organised, and inviting for customers.
• Confidently handle cash and digital transactions, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Contribute to maintaining high brand visual standards, always ensuring excellence in product presentation.
• Support with replenishment and pricing duties, including preparation for sales and promotions as needed

About You

• You must have a background in sales, retail, or customer service, bringing valuable expertise to our dynamic team.
• Natural curiosity, high energy, and positive outlook make every interaction exciting and engaging.
• Deep enthusiasm for our brand and products is infectious, inspiring customers and creating lasting connections.
• Connection to our brand, across key categories of from the trail, road, hike or sportstyle.
• With a talent for identifying customer needs and matching them with the perfect products, you excel at driving sales and exceeding targets.
• You have a knack for motivating and uplifting those around you, fostering a supportive and enthusiastic environment for both customers and team members.
• You have good availability including over the holiday period; specifically between 26 October 2026 and 31 January 2027.
