Job summary

Yancoal Australia invites applications for an experienced Production Technician (Electrical) at Mount Thorley Warkworth (MTW). The role reports to the CHPP Production Supervisor and operates across the CHPP on a 12-hour day shift roster, with potential rotating day/night coverage to cover leave.

You will drive plant performance, safety practices and continuous improvement alongside a capable team. The position requires supervisory experience, CHPP operational knowledge, SAP familiarity, and a

• Trainer or Assessor qualification highly regarded or willingness to obtain.
• Previous supervisory experience highly regarded.
• Sound knowledge of operating systems specific to the CHPP.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor the CHPP to optimise production and quality.
• Provide timely response to operational and maintenance issues to meet targets.
• Inspect and monitor coal processing and perform preventative maintenance tasks.
• Maintain cleanliness of CHPP areas and support safety initiatives.
