Job summary

Anglo American is seeking a CHPP Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor to lead maintenance at Capcoal Mine, Middlemount. You will drive equipment reliability and plant availability through planned and emergent maintenance activities, while mentoring the team and coordinating with external providers.

You will report to the CHPP Maintenance Superintendent and focus on safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement within a large Bowen Basin coal operation. FIFO/DIDO options exist.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in Mechanical Engineering, or a Certificate III in Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience in CHPP or Processing Plant Operations (or similar).
• Current S123 and G2. Knowledge of Coal Mining Safety and Health Act & legislation.
• Acquired computer software skills including Microsoft Suite and Maintenance Management Systems (SAP or similar).
• Ability to multi-task and coordinate various projects; strong safety focus.
