Job summary

Mangoola Coal in New South Wales is seeking motivated Mechanical or Electrical Technicians to join the CHPP Production Team. This permanent full-time role operates a lifestyle roster, with a competitive remuneration package including performance-based bonuses and relocation assistance where eligible.

You will work with a multi-discipline team to operate and monitor CHPP equipment, uphold safety culture, and contribute to achieving production targets.

Qualifications

• Previous CHPP operations experience (Control room, Process operations and Train loading).
• Qualified tradesperson (Mechanical or Electrical).
• Clean coal stockpile dozer competencies / experience.
• Strong safety mindset and teamwork.
• Ability to follow a plan and adapt to a dynamic environment.
• Positive attitude and reliability; proactive contributor.

Responsibilities

• Effectively and efficiently operate and monitor CHPP equipment to achieve CHPP plans and targets.
• Participate in and contribute to a proactive safety culture.
• Promote and maintain a high level of safety and workplace culture through Mangoola values.

What are we looking for?

We’re looking for motivated and safety-focused Mechanical and Electrical Trade Qualified Technicians who bring both technical capability and the right attitude to join our CHPP Production Team. Our CHPP Production Team is a multi-discipline team that is responsible for operation of all areas of the Coal handling and Preparation Plant. You will be joining a highly motivated team where everyone contributes to our positive culture. These positions are permanent full time, working a lifestyle roster. We offer an attractive remuneration package including performance-based bonuses. Relocation assistance may be available for eligible candidates.

As a CHPP Technician, you will be responsible for:

• Effectively and efficiently operating and monitoring CHPP equipment to facilitate achievement of CHPP plans and targets.
• Participating and contributing to our proactive safety culture.
• Promoting and maintaining a high level of positive safety performance & workplace culture through teamwork, personal commitment, and application of the Mangoola Coal values.
• Proactively working with the CHPP team to ensure that production and other targets are achieved.
• Be active and creative in wanting to make a difference and continuously improve yourself and the team you will work with, to achieve highest levels of performance.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Previous CHPP operations experience (Control room, Process operations and Train loading).
• You are a qualified tradesperson (Mechanical / Electrical).
• You have clean coal stockpile dozer competencies / experience.
• You have a high regard for your personal safety and the safety of your teammates.
• You have the ability to follow a plan and the resilience to adapt to a challenging and dynamic environment.
• You demonstrate a positive attitude, reliability, and commitment to working proactively.
• You are a team player with a high level of safety awareness, an attitude for outstanding performance, and a willingness to contribute to a winning team.
