Job summary

Whitehaven Coal is hiring a Maintenance Technician for Maules Creek Workshop in NSW. Join a safety‑driven, growth‑oriented team maintaining a modern ultra‑class fleet of mining equipment in a workshop setting.

You will perform repairs, demonstrate safe practices, work with minimal supervision and contribute to a collaborative culture. Relocation within the region (DIDO options discussed) may be considered.

Qualifications

• Experience in mining or heavy industry maintaining mobile equipment.
• Trade qualification including NSW Certificate of Proficiency.
• Willingness to relocate to the region (DIDO options can be discussed).

Responsibilities

• Conduct required repairs and maintenance on a range of mobile equipment in a workshop setting
• Demonstrate visible safe working practices, manage risk and report hazards
• Work with minimal supervision & carry out assigned work orders
• Perform breakdown activities in a safe and proficient manner
• Contribute to a positive and collaborative organisational culture

What You’ll Do
