Job summary

Glencore Australia is seeking a CHPP Project Supervisor to join Ravensworth Operations in NSW. You will report to the CHPP Project Superintendent and lead day-to-day supervision, planning, cost management and execution of projects at the CHPP, ensuring safety and site standards are met.

The role requires a trade background and experience in fixed infrastructure mining, with strong communication and organisational skills.

Ravensworth Operations comprises of Ravensworth Open Cut and the Coal Handling Preparation Plant that provides high quality coal for the export market. The operation has approval to mine over 14Mtpa, with a long life of mine. The CHPP is a modern dense medium plant consisting of three modules with multiple conveyors, sizers, screens, water management infrastructure, stockpiles and train loading facility, with a capacity to process 3050TPH. The Role

An opportunity exists at our operation for a CHPP Project Supervisor to join our team. Reporting to the CHPP Project Superintendent, you will be primarily responsible for;

• Project supervision, day-to-day planning, cost management and execution.
• Assist with planning project and structural integrity rectification work.
• Task coordination, Contractor Management and compliance to site standards and systems.
• Stakeholder consultation and liaison.
• Safe delivery of project objectives.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have;

• Trade background.
• Previous experience in a Supervisor role in a fixed infrastructure mining environment.
• Working knowledge of relevant codes of practise for project execution within a mining environment.
• Excellent communication and organisation skills.
• Ability to identify and overcome problems.
• Strong computer skills – working knowledge of SAP will be highly regarded.
• Experience in project execution and construction (desirable).
