Job summary
New Hope Group's New Acland Coal Mine near Toowoomba is seeking an experienced CHPP Maintainer Operator - Electrical to join our maintenance team on a permanent, full-time basis. You will work a 7/7 day/night roster and report to the CHPP Supervisor to help maintain safe, efficient coal production and delivery.
The role requires electrical trade qualifications and CHPP or heavy industrial maintenance experience, with fault-finding, SCADA familiarity and a commitment to safety and teamwork in a
Qualifications
- Trade qualifications in electrical engineering fields.
- CHPP operations or heavy industrial maintenance experience.
- Diagnostic troubleshooting of pumps, conveyors and screening systems.
- Experience with SCADA control systems is highly regarded.
- Experience with computer-based maintenance systems desirable.
Responsibilities
- Conduct routine and breakdown maintenance on CHPP electrical equipment.
- Operate, inspect and monitor CHPP to maintain performance and product quality.
- Fault finding, troubleshooting and continuous improvement activities.
- Ensure work complies with site procedures and safety requirements.
