Johnson Controls is seeking an experienced Chiller Technician to join our Service Team in Australia. You will support our growth strategy by performing maintenance, commissioning, troubleshooting, and customer training across diverse projects.

This role offers autonomy, technical challenges, and leadership development opportunities. We value 4+ years in HVAC or industrial cooling, strong maintenance and repair skills, ability to read schematics, and clear reporting.

Qualifications

• 4+ years’ experience as a technician in HVAC or industrial cooling.
• Strong background in maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting.
• Ability to read schematics and produce clear reports.
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
• Current driver’s license and ability to pass pre‑employment medical and background checks.

Responsibilities

• Respond to system breakdowns and perform scheduled preventive maintenance.
• Commission Chillers/HVAC equipment on customer sites.
• Troubleshoot and resolve system issues.
• Overhaul and fault‑find across reciprocating, screw, and centrifugal systems.
• Document and report equipment results accurately.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Provide training and operational advice to customers.
