Job summary

Daikin Australia is seeking a qualified Chiller Service Technician to join our team in NSW. This hybrid role focuses on on-site emergency servicing, fault diagnostics, preventive maintenance, and commissioning of market-leading chiller units.

The ideal candidate has strong technical skills in chiller and heat pump systems, a current refrigerant handling license, and a valid driver’s license. Preference given to those with chiller experience and readiness to learn across the Daikin product range.

Qualifications

• Trade certificate or qualification is required.
• Current Refrigerant Handling License.
• Current driver’s license.
• Chiller experience is preferred but not essential in this hybrid role.
• Ability to fault analyze and complete repairs under tight time constraints.
• Willingness to be trained by OEM across Daikin product range.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-the-spot, emergency servicing and fault diagnostics on Daikin chiller units.
• Carry out routine preventive maintenance tasks and chiller commissioning.
• Undertake planned overhauls and other service activities.
• Collaborate with customers and stakeholders; mentor apprentices where applicable.
