We are passionate about delivering high-quality education and care for children aged 9 months to 6 years, guided by the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS).

About The Role

• This unique position combines food preparation with hands-on education:
  • Prepare and serve lunch and afternoon tea following a 4-week rotating menu
  • Cater to all dietary requirements, including allergies and cultural needs
  • Maintain strict food safety and hygiene standards
  • Order and manage food supplies within budget
  • Work in the rooms as an early childhood educator
  • Supervise, engage and support children’s learning and development
  • Cover educator breaks when needed
  • Build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues

About You

• Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care or working towards (essential)
• Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
• Food Safety Supervisor Certificate or relevant qualifications in nutrition/hospitality
• First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
• Strong time management and ability to balance dual responsibilities
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Previous experience as a childcare cook and/or early childhood educator (highly regarded)

Position Details

• Permanent part-time: Monday to Friday, must work 5 days (minimum 5 hours per day)
• Option to extend to full-time hours for the right candidate
