Job summary

Green Garden Childcare Centre is looking for professional and committed educators to join our team across our centres in Colebee, Penrith and Castle Hill. The role focuses on creating a secure, engaging environment, completing daily reports and upholding high health and safety standards while supporting children’s learning and development.

Candidates should have a minimum of one year of experience, hold Certificate III or above, have a current Working with Children Check and ACECQA First Aid

Qualifications

• Minimum one year experience
• Current Working with Children Check
• ACECQA approved First Aid Qualification that includes applying first aid, emergency asthma management and anaphylaxis
• Current understanding of National Quality Framework, Early Childhood Education and Care Laws and Regulations and the new Assessment and Rating Process.

About the Centre

We have three childcare centres at Colebee, Penrith and Castle Hill. The company prides itself on its high-end renovation and variable resources allowing children and educators to explore and connect with great support.

Your key priorities will be to:

• Completing the children's daily reports;
• Creating a friendly, secure and stimulating interactive learning environment;
• Maintaining a high level of health & safety standards; and
• Food preparation as needed.

Your responsibility:

• Minimum one year experience
• Have completed Certificate III or above
• Current Working with Children Check
• ACECQA approved First Aid Qualification that includes applying first aid, emergency asthma management and anaphylaxis
• Current understanding of National Quality Framework, Early Childhood Education and Care Laws and Regulations and the new Assessment and Rating Process.
• Ensuring a focused approach to embed exceeding practices as per National Quality Standards.
• Building connections within the community and create a positivereputation in early childhood education and customer service.
• Comprehensive understanding ofthe planning cycle, observation techniques and making essential links to children'slearning outcomes.
• A commitment to best practice.
• Demonstrated initiative anddecision making abilities
• Ability to time-manage and meet deadlines.
