Job summary

Rosemont House Montessori Pty Ltd in Adelaide is seeking an experienced Child Care Worker for a full-time, permanent role. Salary is AUD 70,000–80,000 per annum plus superannuation, commensurate with skills and experience.

You will provide high-quality care, assist in planning and implementing educational programs, and support children's physical, emotional, social and intellectual development in a safe, nurturing environment.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care or overseas equivalent.
• At least one year of relevant full-time work experience as a Child Care Worker or Educator.
• Current Working With Children Check.
• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certificates (or willingness to obtain).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care and supervision for children per NQF.
• Assist in planning, implementing and evaluating educational programs.
• Promote children's development across physical, emotional, social and intellectual domains.
• Maintain a safe, hygienic, stimulating learning environment.
• Observe progress and communicate with families regarding development.
• Assist children with meals, hygiene, rest and daily routines.
• Collaborate with educators, families and management.
• Ensure compliance with Education and Care Services National Law and Regulations.
