Little Miracles Terrigal is seeking a passionate Child Care Educator to join our community on a maternity leave cover basis. This full-time role offers an immediate start with an end date of 27 February 2027, with potential for extension.

You will plan and deliver engaging early years programs, ensure a safe environment, and build strong relationships with families and the wider community. Ideal candidates hold a Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education, have relevant experience,

Qualifications

• Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education or equivalent qualification.
• Experience working as an Educator in a childcare setting.
• Thorough understanding of the National Quality Framework and Early Years Learning Framework.
• Current First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma certificates; Working with Children Check.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement engaging, age-appropriate educational programs that foster children's development.
• Provide a safe, caring and stimulating environment that meets individual needs of each child.
• Build positive relationships with children, families and the wider community.
• Maintain accurate records and comply with regulatory requirements.
• Actively participate in team meetings, training and professional development.
• Contribute to the overall success and growth of the childcare centre.
