Engadine Kindy Castle is seeking a passionate Child Care Worker to join our close-knit team in Engadine. This full-time role offers a competitive salary of AU$80,000 plus superannuation and the chance to contribute to high-quality early childhood education.

You will work in a supportive environment, implement EYLF/NQS-compliant programs, and engage with families to promote secure attachments and positive developmental outcomes for children aged 0–6 years.

Competenze

• Certificate III (or higher) in Early Childhood Education and Care.
• Minimum 1 year of full-time experience in an early childhood setting.
• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis (HLTAID012) certifications.
• Valid NSW Working with Children Check.
• Strong knowledge of child development in 0–6 years.
• Ability to develop and implement education programs.

• Manage day-to-day operations of your allocated learning environment.
• Provide high-quality education and care aligned with EYLF and NQS.
• Ensure active supervision and establish clear expectations for behaviour.
• Develop holistic, culturally responsive education programs and responses to all children, within families and communities.
• Structure indoor and outdoor environments and activities to balance learning experiences.
• Assist in developing individual learning plans and documenting progress through observations.
• Build warm, respectful relationships with children and families.
• Support children's behaviour and wellbeing using positive guidance strategies.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and engaging learning environment indoors and outdoors.
• Contribute to team discussions and continuous quality improvement efforts.
• Support centre operations and management tasks as delegated by the Centre Director.
