Job summary

The City of Melbourne seeks a Chief Technology and Information Officer to lead technology, digital, cyber security and information management across the organisation. This executive role will shape technology strategy to support a growing city and deliver contemporary, secure services.

Qualifications

Proven senior organisational leadership experience.
Experience delivering enterprise technology and digital strategies.

Responsibilities

Lead development and delivery of enterprise technology, digital and information strategies.
Provide authoritative advice to CEO, ELT, Council on digital strategy and cyber security risk.
Lead data, analytics and information governance capabilities.
Identify and leverage emerging technologies to improve service delivery and efficiency.
Oversee technology sourcing, vendor management and investment prioritisation.
Drive modernization and consolidation of the organisation’s systems.
Ensure secure, scalable technology platforms and cyber capabilities.
