Yarra Trams is seeking a Head of Security and Business Resilience to lead the Security Management System, Business Resilience Framework and associated governance. You will guide executive leadership, ensure compliance with national law, and oversee enterprise-wide security, emergency management and continuity programs to protect people, assets and operations.

The role requires extensive leadership of multidisciplinary teams, strong stakeholder engagement, and a proactive continuous improvement

• Extensive experience leading enterprise security and resilience in a large organisation.
• Proven ability to influence executive leaders and drive strategic outcomes.
• Strong understanding of critical infrastructure protection and resilience principles.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and developing high-performing professionals.
• Exceptional stakeholder engagement and negotiation skills.
• Strong CI focus with data analytics to support field work and executive visibility.

Mansioni

• Lead the development, implementation and continuous improvement of Yarra Trams’ Security Management System, Business Resilience Framework, Security Intelligence and supporting governance arrangements.
• Provide strategic advice and guidance to the Director, Safety & Security, Executive Leadership Team and senior stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with Rail Safety National Law, Emergency Management Amendment (Critical Infrastructure Resilience) Act, franchise obligations and other applicable legislative and regulatory requirements
• Lead enterprise-wide security, crisis management, emergency management and business continuity programs to protect passengers, employees, infrastructure, information, assets and operations, including liaising with external partner organisations
• Manage a small team of direct reports, including the broader Network Security division.
