National Transport Research Organisation in Melbourne, VIC, seeks an accomplished People & Culture leader with expertise in organisational psychology or development to shape the next stage of the organisation. Working closely with the CEO and Executive Leadership Team, you will drive NTRO’s people strategy with a strong focus on culture, leadership, and workforce capability.

You will translate evidence-based people practices into practical outcomes, lead organisational design and capability

• Culture and leadership experience to strengthen leadership effectiveness and employee experience

• Organisational effectiveness focusing on culture, behavior and performance
• Organisation design, workforce planning and capability development
• Contemporary performance, talent and succession approaches
• Use of behavioural insights and workforce data to address challenges
• Lead people & culture change initiatives across the organisation
• Develop high-performing cross-functional teams and strengthen collaboration
• Governance, risk, and workforce governance in a P&C function

Responsibilities

• Developing and delivering NTRO’s enterprise People & Culture strategy
• Shaping organisational culture, leadership effectiveness and employee experience
• Leading organisational design, workforce planning and capability initiatives
• Applying organisational psychology and behavioural insights to performance, engagement and change
• Building leadership capability and strengthening team effectiveness
• Evolving contemporary approaches to performance, development, talent and succession
• Using workforce data and insights to inform executive decision-making
• Providing trusted advice to the CEO, Executive and Board on organisational effectiveness, culture, capability and people risk
• Leading a high-performing People & Culture function and ensuring sound workforce governance
