Job summary

Aurizn is seeking a Head of ICT & Security to lead enterprise technology, security and information assurance functions. You will set strategic direction, oversee governance and regulatory compliance, and drive growth through technology leadership.

As a member of the Senior Leadership Team, you will partner with executives to deliver secure, innovative solutions and manage a high‑caliber team and key suppliers. Australian citizenship and NV1-clearance eligibility are required.

Qualifications

• Significant senior leadership experience in enterprise ICT and security functions.
• Strong understanding of Defence security frameworks and DISP requirements.
• Proven ability to lead technology transformation and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and execution of ICT and security strategy, roadmap and investments.
• Provide leadership across infrastructure, applications, systems, and service delivery.
• Act as Security Officer with governance, risk management and compliance oversight.
• Lead DISP accreditation and ongoing compliance with Defence requirements.
• Drive security risk management, incident response and continual improvement.
• Align operating model to current and future business needs and budget constraints.
• Advise CEO and SLT on technology, security, risk and investment decisions.
• Partner with leaders to deliver secure, scalable technology solutions.
• Evaluate emerging technologies, including AI, to boost organisational capability.
• Develop a high-performing team and manage key vendor relationships.
