FibreconX is seeking an experienced CFO to lead financial strategy and capital management for its rapid scale-up in Australia's digital infrastructure sector. You will own funding, governance, and investor relations while steering the financial roadmap through the next growth phase.
You will collaborate with the CEO to ensure adherence to strategic objectives, manage risks, and optimize financing for large-scale infrastructure initiatives in a dynamic market.
Founded in 2019, FibreconX is one of Australia's leading wholesale digital infrastructure developers. It built the country's first new fibre network in 20 years and pioneered genuinely open-access fibre for wholesalers. Since then, the business has grown from a purpose-built Sydney data centre network, to a footprint spanning the Sydney and Melbourne CBDs, connecting the data centres and commercial buildings that power the nation's digital economy. Wholesale only and designed for the capacity demands of cloud and AI, FibreconX is now a critical part of the infrastructure behind Australia's AI economy, and its next phase of growth is well underway.
If you're an experienced CFO, interested in being a part of an entrepreneurial scale-up, with premium backing and a track record of success on which to build, then this opportunity could be your next move.
As a core member of the executive leadership team, you'll oversee the company's financial strategy, preparing & guiding them through their next phase of growth. You will be responsible for the group's fiscal health, managing relationships with shareholders, regulatory bodies and financial institutions.
You'll also drive long-term financial planning and, in conjunction with the CEO, ensure continuing adherence to the company's strategic & operational objectives, including risk management, capital management, debt & equity financing and the provision of financial & commercial leadership for complex infrastructure projects.
You're an experienced CFO with relevant sector background in a capital-intensive environment (telco/digital/tech infrastructure). You're adept in capital management and infrastructure financing, with a broad base of skills across financial control, financial operations, governance, commercial finance and investor relations.
