Job summary

Pinnacle People is seeking experienced Chefs to join our team in Sydney. You will create delicious, nutritious meals for elderly residents and contribute to a clean, compliant kitchen environment. We value HACCP/WH&S adherence, strong communication, and the ability to obtain a Police Check. Previous cooking in commercial kitchens is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Chef in a commercial kitchen.
• Knowledge of dietary requirements and safe food handling practices.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to obtain a valid Police Check.

Responsibilities

• Prepare nutritious meals for elderly residents in a care setting.
• Maintain a clean and organised kitchen following sanitation procedures.
• Ensure HACCP standards and WH&S guidelines are followed.

What you will have:

• Previous experience working as a Chef in a commercial kitchen environment.
• Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent qualification
• Working With Children Check is highly regarded, but not strictly needed (to be able to work at schools).
• Ability to obtain a valid Police Check
• Knowledge of dietary requirements and experience in catering to various nutritional needs
• Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment, following proper sanitation procedures
• Familiarity with HACCP standards, WH&S guidelines, and safe food handling practices
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
