Varsity Bar is bringing its vibrant kitchen to Ringwood, Victoria, and we’re looking for a motivated cook to join our team. Master food preparation, follow recipes, and deliver Varsity-quality meals across all shifts.

Cert 3 in Commercial Cookery or equivalent preferred; enthusiasm and a love of good food are essential. Experience is advantageous but not required as we train and grow with the brand.

Qualifications

• Cert 3 in Commercial Cookery or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous kitchen experience is advantageous but not essential.
• Infectious enthusiasm and positivity.
• A love of good food and good times.

Responsibilities

• Master food preparation, cooking and presentation to Varsity quality standards.
• Follow recipes and kitchen guides.
• Ensure meals are served in a timely manner.
• Maintain a safe and hygienic kitchen, adhering to all guidelines.
• Participate in grilling, deep frying, and cooking meat and poultry.
