Job summary

Varsity is expanding to Ringwood, Victoria, and is seeking a kitchen-focused team member to master food preparation and presentation to Varsity standards. You will follow recipes, work across prep, fry, grill, pizza, and salad stations, and ensure meals are served promptly with safety and hygiene at the forefront.

We value enthusiasm, a love of good food, and prior kitchen experience. Certification is preferred, and you’ll join a fun, growth-oriented team delivering great times and meals.

Qualifications

• Master food preparation, cooking and presentation to Varsity quality standards.
• Follow recipes and kitchen guides.
• Ensure meals are served in a timely manner.
• Maintain a safe and hygienic kitchen, that adheres to all food preparation and cleanliness guidelines.
• Participate in all technical aspects of cooking including grilling, deep frying, and cooking meat and poultry.
• Work across all stations in the kitchen including prep, fry, grill, pizza and salad stations.
• Ensure dietary requirements are catered for in a safe manner.

What Will You Bring?

• Cert 3 in Commercial Cookery or equivalent is preferred
• Infectious enthusiasm and positivity.

• Previous experience in a kitchen environment is advantageous but not essential.
