Slipstream Brewing Co. on the Sunshine Coast is seeking chefs or cooks to join a dynamic kitchen team for casual hours. Bring your passion for food and fast-paced service to a creative beer-focused environment.

Applicants should have at least one year in a commercial kitchen, be versatile, and hold Australian work rights; a Cert 3/4 in Commercial Cookery is highly regarded. Flexible rosters including nights and weekends are available.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year experience in a fast paced commercial kitchen.
• Cert 3 & 4 in Commercial Cookery is looked upon favourably.
• Energy, enthusiasm, positivity - and bucket loads of it!

Slipstream Brewing Co. is an independent brewery based in Yeerongpilly, Brisbane. Established in 2017, we produce some of the most accessible and sessionable craft beer around. Inspired by US beer culture, we make the hops the heroes and brew with pure flavour in mind.We’re also proud holders of titles including Australia’s Champion Small Brewery (2025) and Queensland’s Champion Brewery (2024 & 2025).

Slipstream Social House in Birtinya brings the Slipstream experience to the Sunshine Coast, featuring outdoor dining, tasting paddles, cozy booths, a seasonal menu of share plates and grilled specialties, plus a calendar of fun events in a striking bar and restaurant setting. Alongside our award-winning beers, we serve well-executed cocktails and a carefully curated bourbon list — all delivered with a strong focus on genuine hospitality.

We have multiple openings available for experienced chefs or cooks to work casual hours in our fun and creative kitchen.

About You:
