Spyglass Coffee is a pumping specialty coffee and sandwich bar in the CBD!

Positioned in a perfect corner spot on Flinders Lane and Queen St, Spyglass Coffee is a must-stop shop for locals and visitors alike to enjoy outstanding and diverse sandwich options to pair perfectly with their much-needed specialty coffee. Our sleek espresso bar on the corner of Little Bourke and Gresham is also not to be missed.

And we're opening something new, very soon!

About the position

We are looking for passionate and motivated chefs and sandwich hands to join the team!

An ideal candidate is someone whounderstandsthe importance of consistently producing the highest quality sandwiches and salads, whilst maintaining efficiency andinnovation. The Spyglass production team is an integral part of our operation.

The right person will have experience in fast-paced contemporary café-style cuisineor high-volume sandwich and/or salad production. Our next team member will be able demonstrate a sound working knowledge of food preparation techniques, general food knowledge, mis-en-place, service, plating, stock rotation, as well as a clear understanding of safe food handling practices. Consistency, speed and care are the core words of our ethos.

Hours:

5 days per week: Monday – Friday (6.30am – 3.30pm) or Tuesday – Saturday (6.30am – 3.30pm)

Must be available during these times every day so we cannot accommodate for students or changing rosters. We ideally would like someone to grow with us long term.
