Pearl & Ash Café Bar, a vibrant café operated by The Standard Market Company, serves breakfast and lunch daily from 7:00 am. We are seeking an experienced, passionate Chef to join our busy kitchen and help deliver high-quality, locally sourced dishes in a collaborative team.

You will thrive in a fast-paced environment, taking pride in consistency and teamwork, and you will be responsible for running a section while maintaining our high standards of hospitality and food quality.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Chef in a busy café, restaurant or similar kitchen.
• Strong commitment to delivering high-quality food consistently.
• Ability to run a section in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Availability on Sundays is essential.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

We're seeking a Chef who is passionate about food, takes pride in their work and understands the importance of consistency, quality and teamwork.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Previous experience working as a Chef in a busy café, restaurant or similar kitchen environment.

• A strong commitment to preparing and delivering high-quality food consistently.

• The ability to confidently run a section in a fast-paced kitchen (highly regarded).

• Certificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery.

• Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.

• A positive attitude and the ability to remain calm and focused under pressure.

• The ability to take direction, communicate effectively and work collaboratively as part of a team.

• A professional presentation and a genuine passion for hospitality.

Availability on Sundays is essential.
