Foundry Tavern, part of Stardeck Group, is seeking a reliable Chef to join our kitchen team in Karratha, WA. You will produce quality dishes, maintain high standards and contribute to a positive dining experience for guests.

We welcome applicants with restaurant experience, a passion for produce and the ability to work autonomously within a supportive team. Accommodation is available in staff housing, and sponsorship is available for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Chef or Cook in a quality restaurant environment
• Passion for great produce, quality food and high standards
• Ability to work autonomously and take ownership of your section
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Good communication skills and a team-focused mindset
• Pride in food quality, presentation and consistency
• Creativity and interest in contributing to weekly specials
• Willingness to learn, grow and support the wider team

Responsibilities

• Preparing and cooking dishes to venue standards
• Maintaining consistency, quality and presentation across all menu items & kitchen
• Supporting smooth kitchen operations during service
• Working autonomously when required while remaining part of a wider team
• Contributing ideas and creativity to weekly specials
• Working collaboratively with the Head Chef and kitchen team
