Cater Care, at our Warrigal site in Bundanoon, NSW, invites a Chef Manager to oversee daily kitchen operations and ensure residents receive high-quality, diet-compliant meals. This permanent, full-time role offers a Monday–Friday roster and a chance to contribute to meaningful meals in aged care.

You will lead food preparation, manage bulk cooking, and maintain food safety standards while delivering excellent customer service to residents and clients.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification in commercial cookery is required.
• Experience in food preparation, bulk cooking and kitchen operations.
• Knowledge of texture-modified diets and meeting individual dietary requirements.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and cooking fresh, nutritious meals in a busy kitchen environment.
• Managing bulk food preparation and production.
• Delivering texture-modified meals in line with dietary requirements and standards.
• Providing friendly, professional customer service to residents and clients.
• Organising daily kitchen operations and prioritising tasks independently.
• Maintaining high standards of food safety, hygiene and kitchen cleanliness.
