Qualifications

• Proven experience in professional kitchens.
• At least 5 years' experience as a chef.
• Sous Chef candidates need a minimum of 6 months in the role.
• Event catering or high-volume kitchen experience is highly regarded.
• A background in hatted or award-winning restaurants is also highly regarded.
• A strong focus on consistency and detail, and pride in high-quality food.
• The ability to run small events and prep independently.
• A positive attitude, solid work ethic and team mindset, with strong problem-solving skills and initiative.
• Valid NSW driver's licence.
• Australian working rights are required; visa sponsorship may be available for exceptional candidates.

An expanding Sydney restaurant built around live fire and carefully sourced produce needs a Chef de Partie or a Sous Chef to strengthen its brigade. The employer is open to experienced and junior applicants for either position.

What the kitchen needs most is someone who stays composed in a fast, high-energy service and keeps every plate at the same standard. The team is small, driven and close, and its work stretches beyond the restaurant to bespoke events staged at different venues.
