Job summary

Newgreens Chatswood is seeking a proactive Chef de Partie to support our kitchen operations across a 200-seat cafe, a multi-room events space, and a 150-seat rooftop restaurant. You will help ensure consistent production and delivery of high-quality dishes in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of proven experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
• Cert IV in Commercial Cookery and Food Safety Supervisor certification.
• Availability to work early mornings, weekends, and public holidays.
• Strong track record in fast-paced food & beverage environments, delivering high-quality results.
• Creativity, energy, and a genuine passion for culinary arts.
• Experience in stocktaking and maintaining kitchen efficiency.
• Proactive teamwork and service mindset.
• Current First Aid certification and National Police Check.

Responsibilities

• Support kitchen operations to ensure consistent production and delivery of high-quality food across all outlets.
• Maintain kitchen efficiency and stock levels through regular stocktaking.
• Collaborate with chefs and front-of-house to meet service standards.
• Adapt to early-morning shifts and weekend/public-holiday coverage.
