• Collaborate with kitchen team members to ensure smooth operations during service periods.
• Monitor stock levels and communicate ingredient requirements to management.
• Assist with menu development and special dishes, leveraging your knowledge of Sri Lankan cuisine.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of assigned kitchen stations and equipment.
• Respond positively to feedback and continuously work to improve culinary skills and techniques.
• Support training and mentoring of junior kitchen staff as required.

• Proficiency in preparing curries, rice dishes, seafood, and vegetarian specialities authentic to Sri Lanka
• Food safety certification or willingness to obtain one
• Excellent knife skills and ability to work efficiently in a busy kitchen
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to consistent food quality and presentation
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team whilst maintaining focus during peak service times
• Flexibility with shift patterns, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays
