Voyages Tourism Australia Pty Ltd is hiring Chef (Cook Level) roles at Ayers Rock Resort in Yulara, NT. These full-time positions offer varied levels: Commis Chef, Demi Chef and Cook, with hourly rates of $33.35, $34.82 and $30.93 respectively.

You'll join a large hotel kitchen, progress through a supportive team, and relocate to the Red Centre with relocation assistance and resort benefits. Applicants should holdCert III in Cookery or Patisserie and have 2+ years in a similar setting.

Qualifications

Who we are seeking: A passionate and qualified individual who is driven and focused with a desire to learn and succeed in a culinary/hospitality career to join our Kitchen Team at Ayers Rock Resort who has:

• Certificate III in Commercial Cookery and/or Certificate III in Patisserie or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years of experience post-apprenticeship in a similar role
• Previous experience within a large kitchen operation
• Experience within a hotel or resort environment
• Understanding of food safety standards and HACCP principles.

Full time Positions Available

Commis Chef ($33.35 per hour)

Assist the kitchen team in delivering high-quality food to guests by preparing ingredients, maintaining a clean and organized workstation, and supporting the kitchen team in the execution of exceptional culinary experiences.

Demi Chef ($34.82 per hour)

Oversee a designated section of the kitchen, supporting the Chef de Partie in daily operations, and ensuring the consistent preparation of high-quality dishes. The Demi Chef also takes on leadership responsibilities, including training junior staff and stepping into a supervisory role when required.

Cook ($30.93 per hour)

Preparing and presenting dishes that meet the hotel's culinary standards and delight guests, by following recipes maintain food safety practices, and contribute to a collaborative kitchen environment that ensures smooth service and quality cuisine.
